Pro freeskier Cody Townsend grew up surfing the waves of Santa Cruz, California and snow skiing the slopes of Lake Tahoe…and dreaming of combining the two, apparently. This past November, that’s just what he did. Along with the “Godfather of Freeskiing” Mike Douglas, and tow-in assistance from a few Yamaha WaveRunners, the pair began skiing the moving mountains of Maui.
